Ending the "Frozen" Era

When we moved to Australia, that ritual changed. For too long, the only option has been frozen bricks from the grocery store—icy, watery, and a shadow of the fruit we remembered. We believe the soul of the durian is lost in the deep freeze.

Durian Lah was born to change that. We didn’t want "frozen-thawed." We wanted the creamy, custardy, punchy experience we had as kids. We wanted that "fresh-from-the-orchard" aroma that fills a room and brings people together.

The 48-Hour Freshness Sprint

We’ve built a logistical bridge from the Malaysian orchard directly to our warehouse in Doncaster East. By using a dedicated chilled cold-chain instead of traditional deep-freezing, we ensure your durian never loses its cellular integrity.

Our Farm-to-Table Timeline:

  • 06:00 AM (Malaysia): Our partner farmers hand-select tree-ripened durian at peak maturity.

  • 10:00 AM: The fruit is cleaned, chilled, and vacuum-sealed to lock in those signature volatile aromatics.

  • 08:00 PM: Your order is loaded onto a MAS Cargo flight, flying direct from KLIA to Melbourne overnight.

  • 06:00 AM (Melbourne): The flight touches down and clears customs immediately.

  • 11:00 AM: The shipment arrives at our warehouse, ready for the final leg of the journey.

  • 12:00 PM: You pick up your pre-order and enjoy the authentic taste of Malaysia on the very same day.
