How do pre-orders work?
Because we prioritise freshness, we operate on a shipment-based schedule. You place your order online to "reserve" your box from the upcoming harvest. Once the shipment arrives in Melbourne and clears customs, it is ready for collection.
How will I know when my durian arrives?
We send out alerts via our WhatsApp Channel and an automated email/SMS to all pre-order holders as soon as the batch is ready for pickup.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Due to the perishable nature of durian and the complexity of air-freight logistics, all sales are final once the shipment has departed Malaysia. Changes to pickup dates are subject to availability.

How much does shipping cost?
We currently service select metropolitan areas across Greater Melbourne. Because we only courier fresh, chilled air-freight that cannot sit in transit indefinitely, our delivery coverage is strictly zone-based. Simply enter your postcode at checkout to instantly verify if your address falls within our active fresh-delivery routing zones.
What if I can’t make it to the pickup window?
Durian is a fresh product. If you cannot collect during the window, please arrange for a friend to collect on your behalf. Uncollected orders will be moved to cold storage, but we cannot guarantee "peak freshness" for orders collected late.
Is the durian fresh or frozen?
To ensure the best quality for the Melbourne market, our durians are tree-ripened, hand-selected, and then vacuum-sealed and chilled immediately (Never Frozen). This locks in the "farm-to-table" flavor and prevents the smell from leaking during transit.

Why does my durian taste different from the exact same variety I had in Malaysia?
Because our durians are 100% natural, tree-ripened, and freshly harvested, each individual fruit develops its own unique personality.
Taste depends heavily on the specific origin, the seasonal weather, and the exact harvest time, meaning it is quite common for durians to vary slightly even when harvested from the exact same tree.
Unlike a uniform factory product, premium Malaysian durians are famous for having incredibly intense and complex flavor profiles, which is just mother nature's way of making every piece unique
Why does my durian have a slightly "carbonated" or fizzy taste?
Because our durians are air-freighted entirely fresh and never frozen, they are highly sensitive live products.
A slight fizzy or "carbonated" sensation on the tongue is a completely normal result of the natural fermentation process occurring within the fresh fruit.
This fermented profile is actually highly prized by connoisseurs, particularly in varieties like D24 XO which are famous for their distinct "alcoholic" sting and complex, fermented characteristics.
Why is Fresh (Never Frozen) Durian so expensive in Australia?
You aren't just paying for the fruit—you're paying for a premium, highly regulated journey. Roadside prices in Malaysia often reflect a surplus of low-grade fruit from young (5–7 year old) trees, sold with the heavy outer shell intact.
In contrast, our imported durian is 100% pure, vacuum-sealed flesh sourced exclusively from premium, export-grade (AA) harvests from mature 25+ year old trees for maximum flavor depth. Bringing this luxury crop to Melbourne requires premium MAS air freight, continuous sub-zero refrigeration, strict Australian biosecurity compliance, and customs clearance.

Why did my durian arrive early?

Two main factors can cause our fresh flights to beat the clock: either customs clearance goes much quicker than expected, or we lock in our strict orchard allocation limits ahead of time and ship early. Since fresh durian is a live product, getting it into your hands as fast as possible ensures the ultimate flavor experience.
